FDA may be having some trouble with its regulations.gov website, but it still wants to hear from industry on proposed rules.  FDA had extended the comment period for the FSMA proposed rules for produce safety and preventive controls for human foods to November 15th, but electronic filing of comments has been disrupted recently. Although regulations.gov is working again, FDA wants to assure industry that it will find a way to get your comments, should the site experience trouble again before Friday.  FDA has announced that it will also extend the comment period for the proposed rules for FSVP and 3rd-Party Accreditation.  However, until its extended officially, the current deadline of November 26th still applies.

Your comments on proposed rules can impact the final rules – which impact your business.  We at FDAImports.com regularly assist industry in interpreting FDA’s proposed rules and commenting on them. Contact us today to learn more about how we can help your voice be heard!
