Rick Quinn, Principal at FDAImports.com, and Shelly Li, Regulatory Specialist of ExportToUsa.com.cn, traveled to China to visit companies listed on FDA Import Alert in March.
The team intended to increase Chinese companies’ awareness and understanding of FDA rules and regulations, as well as how to successfully export FDA-regulated products to the United States. During this trip, the team visited companies throughout the provinces of Guangdong and Hainan. They visited industry members involved with food (mainly seafood), cosmetics, devices, etc.
Companies showed great interest in what FDAImports.com has to offer, especially in learning more about how to successfully import their products into the United States, FDA Import Alerts and refusals, how to seek removal from FDA Import Alerts, and 510(K) application processes. “I like the face-to-face communication”, said Ms. Li, the manager of a seafood company in Shantou. “We have emails back and forth and phone calls, but now you are here to talk about our case. I am so glad to know that you are here and ready to help”.
“We will do everything we can to assist companies facing FDA obstacles, seeking removal from FDA Import Alerts, and helping to expedite the import process,” said Rick Quinn. “We also had several opportunities to counsel firms on the requirements for importing FDA-regulated products.”
FDAImports.com regularly helps foreign companies on FDA Import Alerts obtain removal or exemption from those alerts. If your firm is struggling with Import Alerts or any aspect of the import process, contact us now.
