Rick Quinn, Partner at Maryland-based international FDA consulting firm FDAImports.com, will be attending and presenting at Mindanao Exporters Congress. The show will be held at the SMX Convention Center of the SM Lanang Premier, in Davao City, Philippines, from August 1-3, 2013. At 9:10 am, during the plenary session, Mr. Quinn will be offering a brief presentation on exporting foods and beverages to the USA, before participating in a panel discussion. FDAImports.com will be present at the Philippines Department of Agriculture’s booth in the pavilion.
Mr. Quinn’s presentation was created specifically for exporters, manufacturers, and other members of the food and beverage industry. Mr. Quinn will discuss U.S. regulations and agencies, the effect of recent changes in food safety law (Food Safety Modernization Act), and practical business solutions to help Philippine companies get in and stay in the U.S. market.
Additionally, Mr. Quinn will be available before, during, and after the congress, for free 30-minute consultations with Philippine companies interested in obtaining specific solutions to their U.S. import compliance actions. In these consultations, Mr. Quinn will draw on many years of experience with FDA, USDA, and U.S. Customs, as well as international business strategies for companies dealing with regulated products, to provide businesses with the insight they need.
